Prior Authorizations (PA's) for Insurance / Branded GLP-1's
As we know, compounded medications are inherently more affordable, but insurance companies do not offer coverage.
Some insurance companies do cover branded GLP-1's. The rates are typically much higher (often 550 or more per month), but if it is something that interests you, Fridays offers prior authorizations for branded medications as well. They will handle the initial PA and have a high approval rate, typically much quicker than through PCP. They would also handle any appeals if necessary.
