Hi all. Im Dave and my wife Brenda is on the terzepatide program with Emerge. She is not big into blogging so Im taking a lead here on her behalf. She started with .25 for a month. Then bumped up to .50 her 2nd month. She visited her primary care physician at 6 weeks in and had lost 6 lbs. Starting month 3 she has upped her dose to .75. Appetite is noticably less for the first time. Question I have is protein. How much a day? Are protein shakes acceptable forms? Thank you all for your posts and responces! ❤
Jessica from Chicago. Had huge success with Wegovy for 1+ years and it saved my life and mental health. Sadly, insurance stopped covering it and I had to find another solution. PCP gave me a script for tirzepatide that I brought to Red Rock Pharmacy, but now after a month I don’t know what I can even do since the FDA has taken away this amazing gift. I’m in a puddle of tears and anxiety over here wondering how and where I’m going to get access to the medication that my body needs. I’ve already gained 15 lbs in 2 months without the consistent use of a GLP-1.
Hi everyone! My name is Linda. I started my glp1 journey in February on monjouro with good success, until my insurance stopped covering it in July. I started back on zepbound this month and feeling pretty good, aside from the steep cost.
Thank you so much Allison for the research and safe space to chat. It is much much appreciated. I haven’t decided which provider/pharmacy I’ll try but I sure appreciate any great deals or discount codes. 🥰. So glad to be here.
Hello, I just found out about this forum from Reddit. I've tried 2 different companies already and failed. I have PCOS and my partner and I are trying to get pregnant soon. I just signed up to this new company called Lumimeds, before I've searched about this forum. I have yet to receive my meds. Hoping this would be the answer to my weight loss journey.
Hi Jamie, Things are in flux right now. The compounded version of tirzepatide may not be available anymore as we've known it. 503B pharmacies are reportedly able to fill scripts for 60 days with some providers offering multi-month purchases for those who are able. Providers like Fridays let you toggle between compound and brand depending on current status, as well as switch to semaglutide. Orderly seems to be continuing status quo but I am going to stop promoting tirzepatide in compliance if that's what is required of me. I'm learning about it. Semaglutide appears to be available as an option.
I am so happy I found you on Reddit! You saved me from trying a different company! I used your referral link for emerge and I’m not sure if there are any other steps to take besides wait. I filled out the google form, and then paid for my first month :) I’m really excited to try this as I feel like I’ve hit rock bottom with my PCOS, and insulin resistance and nothing has worked. Crossing my fingers! :) thank you for all your research!
Alison - I just ordered semiglutide through Orderly. Thank you for making me feel confident about this online pharmacy. You broke everything down so well. My Dr. prescribed Wegovy which is not covered so this is hopefully a good option for me. I found signing up really easy and appreciate that there is no membership. Thank you for all of your information!!!
Hello, I am fairly new to this journey and excited to have like minded to communicate with. Thank you for all of the research that you have provided, makes me feel more comfortable. A little bit about where I am at currently. I started at a local health spa, understanding that it was going to be more expensive, but I just wanted to see which injection I wanted and what to expect before putting a months worth of money out. I am currently paying $100.00 per week for Semaglutide, I am doing my third shot today. This fee also covers an additional B-12 shot. I am tolerating well so I am ready to move to a Telehealth solution. I am torn on whether to move to Emerge and switch to Tirz or go with Orderly and just stay on the Sema. I have about 30-40 lbs that I want to lose. I am commited to the marathon and have been taking the steps to do this right. Would love to hear what others advice would be.
Hi, I started my journey with Emerge on July 11th and started my injection on Friday the 19th! So happy to have found this website and all of this great information, thank you so much, it has been a life saver!!😊 So far things have been going great, no side effects, some appetite suppression, which is feeling full faster and with less food, cravings are minimal and so much better. I completed the 3rd shot on the 2nd and have lost 6.9lbs, everything is going awesome and Emerge has been great. I wanted to know if anyone has tried BHH (Balanced Hormone Health) they have bulk vials?? Just wanted any insight, timely refill orders etc.... because they are cheaper but that doesn't always mean better 😉 and they do use Hallandale pharmacy, so if anyone has anything to share I would greatly appreciate it, thanks Lisa 😊
Hi, I’m Christine and found you through reddit. Wish I’d done a bit more research before I signed up with Plushcare as I’m not thrilled with the experience so far and now know they are one of the most expensive providers. I appreciate your research efforts and willingness to share and I’m looking forward to my first shipment from Emerge.
Hi Christine! Don't feel bad, most of us have ended up going through a similar experience. It's part of why I put this all together here. I'm adding more info all of the time and will be adding an e-newsletter for industry updates and fun tips. I'm enjoying helping people and this community we are creating organically here. Glad you found Emerge! I'm down 38 lbs with them today. Let me/us know if you ever have any questions!
Hello, I'm Sarah, and I finally decided to order my tirzepatide through Emerge. I have been hesitant to try this for fear that it won't work or I will have a bad experience or even more, what if it DOES work? Is it possible that I can really get back to my healthy body? I'm scared to hope. Nothing has worked for the last 25 years. I have been steadily gaining every year, no matter what I do. I finally asked my doctor about it 4 months ago, and she sent in my rx for zepbound, but it was rejected by insurance. I have to go through the hoops if I want to get insurance to pay for it. She put me on metformin, but the diarrhea was so bad and often that I had to stop. I do know that it helped my glucose get back to normal for the first time in 2 years which was nice. My H1c is just below diabetic range and we wanted to move it back down to normal. I haven't tested for it yet though. My next appt with my Dr. isn't until the end of July, and I will test then.
My friend told me she was using a compounded version because of the same reasons I have been going through. She has done very well with it and has encouraged me to try the same. I found this website through a redditfound through a google search. I love all the research you have put into this and it makes me feel at ease with going this route. So last night, I went through Emerge to order my tirzepatide. It seems like it is all going through just fine. I have an order waiting to be filled. My questions now are, was I supposed to speak with a doctor? Do I just inform my Dr. that I am getting it through a compound pharmacy? Do I do it on my own? I'm a little confused. Advice is welcome. Thank you for this website and everyones experiences to get to this place.
I wanted to add, there's a gadget called a Renpho scale. I just picked up one a few weeks ago and it's great for helping see numbers change other than just weight. Mentally, it seems to help folks a lot. I learned about it from other tirzepatide patients and wish I got it months ago. It's cheap too, I think $25. Just an idea.
Thank you Alison! The explanation helps me understand the provider part on Emerge better. I appreciate it. I was able to get a video appt later today with my PCP so I am going to let her know the changes I am making.
As for the renpho scale, I've had one for about 5 years now, and I LOVE it. I just ordered the renpho digital tape measure that connects with the app. It will be much better for me for it to record automatically.
The weight is one thing, but there is definitely a lot of other measurable and non scale things I'd be extremely pleased to see and feel. That is my hope in all of this. Thank you again for your advice and help and research!
It's pretty great! I stalled once for 2 weeks and it really would have been nice to have. I bet there were other measurements changing. Super and again, good luck, here if you need anything 🙂
Hi! Thank you Alison for providing this forum and the wonderful researched information. It helped me to take action. Just pulled trigger and used your personal link to order from Emerge. I have delayed this journey for more than 9 months waiting and hoping the brand product became budget friendly. I'm nervous and excited!
9 months is a long time! There have been so many shifts in the marketplace, and there's quite a lot of information out there to sort through before making the decision. I hope the site helped a bit, to make it all easier to digest and put it all in one spot. Emerge is great. That's who I use, too, as you probably know. 🙂 Orderly when I titrate up but 10mg has been working for me for a long time. You might find the same thing, a dose just ends up feeling right to you. Let me know if I can be of any help along the way!
HI there, reddit:BehooldKeto here, Deborah. I am so thrilled! I learned what I know in the early days of all the good work and discussions on Reddit forums. it was amazing and wonderful. I am not pleased that the sub:compoundedtirzepitide is now banning any links, all of it. It seems the ‘last gasp of late stage capitalism” are mad someone would get info and thank people. It infuriates me! So, I am here and have incvited Alison, if possible, to somehow get imto my new sub:GLP1sForOldies. And do educating and info to some people who really need it. So thanks!
Deborah! So glad you're here. This space is open for everyone who saw the censorship happening on Reddit, the shift in the conversations to suppress anybody speaking out or asking too many questions about a company. Some have said that there are marketing teams patrolling Reddit now, flagging anyone who dissents -- I would have to say I feel that too. It's important that people are free to discuss their experiences openly.
On Reddit, with everyone being afraid to speak out, it creates these waves of seeming support for companies or entities that aren't genuine. It used to be that any new player would expect to be questioned about typical things - but now, it is portrayed that they are being "picked on" and everyone is accused of being a "shill" or a "bot" rather than just real people trying to sort fact from fiction. Trying, like we all are, to level up our quality of life.So - I hope for this site and this space to create a welcome reprieve from all of that. The information is here for anyone to use and share freely. I don't have google ads or anything, on purpose, so I don't get paid for traffic. It's just a spot to gather the truth.
I'm glad you're here. GLP1sForOldies is a great name!! Love it.
